PALS Provider Class

The American Heart Association (AHA) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Provider Course is designed for healthcare professionals who manage respiratory and cardiovascular emergencies in infants and children. This instructor-led, scenario-based class emphasizes the recognition and treatment of pediatric respiratory distress, shock, and cardiac arrest.

This course is ideal for pediatricians, emergency and critical care staff, paramedics, and other providers involved in pediatric emergency response. Participants will apply AHA PALS algorithms, develop effective communication skills, and gain hands-on experience through realistic team scenarios.

  • Respiratory distress and failure recognition
  • Management of pediatric shock and cardiac arrest
  • Systematic pediatric assessment and PALS algorithms
  • Airway management techniques and related pharmacology
  • Effective team-based resuscitation and communication
  • High-quality CPR and AED use for infants and children

A current AHA PALS Provider Manual is required for this course. Choose between:

  • Digital eBook: Emailed upon registration

Need to renew BLS too? You may add the BLS Provider Renewal during registration. The skills check will be completed during your PALS session.

📜 Certification:

Upon successful completion, you will receive a 2-year American Heart Association PALS Provider eCard, valid nationwide.

PALS® and AHA® are registered trademarks of the American Heart Association and are used with permission. Training is conducted in accordance with the current AHA Program Administration Manual (PAM).

Required Manual Notice:
The American Heart Association (AHA) requires all students to have access to the current course manual before, during, and after class. Certification may be considered invalid by the AHA if this requirement is not met.
